great speakers..... one downfall
only downfall is that you have to reset the volume every time you turn it on as it defaults back to zero. great sounding speakers for such a small package! i purchased from one of the cheaper reatailers and received in great condition with all originaly packaging. use rechargeable batteries in this and they last along time. use it for about an hour to 90 min. every morning, and the batteries seem to last for more than a month.
Good things come in small packages
I read all the reviews and am SO glad I purchased this system. Now I am able to watch a DVD on a laptop and actually hear it. The sound is clear and loud enough to hear in a few rooms of a home. It can plug directly into laptop or iPod, or use USB cord. Someone let me use their SONY and it had a tin sound, but the Audio Source gives a full sound, not tinny at all. It is quite compact and nice that when opened, the attached top folds to set on the base(see picture); the 3.5mm plug is also attached to the base, conserving space. It has a 3-D button to enhance the sound. So, one can listen even in a noisy or larger room. This was definitely worth buying.
Weak wires
Awesome speakers, I love them. The case is pretty intense, too. Sadly, they USB cable and (very short) audio cable have started to fall apart. Both frayed very quickly, and one flat-out broke yesterday. All this without excessively rough use (I wasn't super super careful, either. I just used them normally). Very sad. But that aside, they're great.

I guess the secret is out! When I purchased these they cost me including shipping. I was surprise with how quickly I recieved them. Very Fast shipping. I bought a second set to give to my daughter. Great speakers!
Amazing little speaker
I'm amazed at the sound from this little speaker. I wanted something to use in my camper for background music and this thing more then fulfills my needs. Compact and amazing sound for something so small. If your looking for something with big base and loud sound, then obviously this is not for you. If I had a negative, the audio cord is to short, if this was a problem you could always get an extension. I will be curious how long the batteries will last.
