Once you have acquired these you need to do as a first step insert this installation disc into the computer. You will get a window opened and on it some instructions will flash. If you follow them one after another, the software will get installed.

The next step is to see the instructions on this software. When you open it, you can see a list and you have an option SonicStage. From here you can transfer music to your Walkman. For that you need to plug in one end of the USB cable into the Sony Walkman port and connect the other end to the computer through the USB port on it.
At this stage a window named Walkman Launcer will pop up. This will happen only if the computer has recognized the external device newly added. The window will have various option and you want to add music you need to go to the music tab and select it. This will enable the SonicStage software to start its operation. As transfer that is your activity naturally you will need to select transfer. On this you would see few more options. You need to click the tab “ATRAC Audio Device”. This specifies your Walkman.
