This may be the biggest mistake I made on iphone accessories. The volume is very weak and a total waste of money. Would not advise this for purchase. A total joke!!!

Had high hopes of using this thing on bicycle rides, but an pretty disappointed in the item. Within 2 weeks the strap holding the iphone into the case broke. The speakers sound distorted at full volume. The battery compartment is a joke – it takes about 15minutes to get the batteries in and out. The case is too small to put anything else inside other than a naked iphone – it will not hold an iphone jacket if you use one so it is necessary to take your phone out and put the jacket somewhere else. Battery life appears thus far to be pretty short – about 3 commutes into the city and back (that would be about 5 hours of playing time). It could also benefit greatly by a way to secure the item to a handlebar.

I purchased this product for my hikes and backpacking trips. The speaker quality is fair and not as good as I had hoped. For backing trips where water and dust rule is not this products environment. The ipod didn’t work well inside the cover either. I would be better off with a different design, something simple and hardier.

The sound quality is better than I expected, but the case needs a lot of tweaking to be effective for iTouch. Too much pressure on the retaining strap & the battery runs down because of the pressure on the touch screen. Not enough, & the contents rattles around inside. Besides, the sponge filler will weaken after some time of repeated usage. The case itself is heavier than I expected for ‘handheld’ status. Something like the first Mac portables. Most other portable speaker systems (in the price range) have the ability to run of of AC. Also, there’s no way I can figure out how to ‘power-down’ without removal from the case.

Had high hopes for this but sorely disappointed. No volume control and sound is relatively low. Ok if sitting on a desk next to you or in a quiet room, but don’t expect to set the joint a’rockin. Once your iPod/iPhone is inside the device, all zippered up, you can play with your touch screen but you cannot turn it off! It all has to be unpacked to do this. Batteries are very difficult to insert. If you have arthritis or fine motor control problems, forget it.
