Defective unit
This is a nice-looking unit and the sounds seems OK, but the CD player had a skip right out of the box. I played the CD in my Sony player and it was fine, so evidently the iSymphony unit was defective. If you buy this thing, make sure you can take it back.

HIt of the Party!
After a long search for a product that would suit our needs, I found this system by iSymphony. We wanted a system that we could use everywhere in our home.

Granted this is not the system that I have downstairs which includes a 15" sub woofer, Definitive speakers, and a Yamaha amplifier. Nor is it my buddies beautiful Bang Olufsen unit. But that's not what we were looking for either.

We finally got a chance to put this system to the test. We purchased an extra pair of speakers along with this main unit (total of 4 speakers).
At our last party, we had this system at max volume (level 32 on the display) and there was no distortion. This was using the newest 8GB Nano. Music played was mostly House, Techno, and Dance. We also had the Bass booster on and the internal EQ set to Rock.

I had many compliments and everyone kept asking who made this system. I was happy to say; "iSymphony!"

So if you are looking for a portable, wireless, convenient, sleek, functional system; look no further.

And I have ZERO complaints about the speakers being wired. I want MAX power out of the speakers without having to change batteries (as others have mentioned).

This system would have received 5 stars from me, since I rated this system on what it was supposed to deliver for the price. The reason it didn't not, is that the remote is really not that great and the USB port will not recognize mass storage, e.g. my cell phone (Blackberry Pearl).

Other than that; GREAT SYSTEM!!! I will be adding more speakers soon.

One helpful tip: for more bass, position speakers in a corner approx. 6" away from the wall.

This turned out to be even better than I thought. I thought that with the price being low it would only be an "OK" system, but as it turns out it is GREAT. I love it, the sound is perfect it works with many differnet plug ins. It works with my Iphone. It is really a great deal. When it shipped I got a faulty remote control and I thought ok this is the catch, but when I contacted the company they replaced the entire system paid for shipping I paid NOTHING and no questions asked. So it does not get any better than this. I totally recommend this product.

Excellent piece of equipment.
Right out of the box this system was amazing. Set-up took only a couple of minutes, and once the two extra speakers I purchased were linked I was astonished at how good the sound was. I initially placed all four speakers in the same room, but after a couple of day I decided to move two of them into different areas of the house. To my delight, the sound quality never faltered and is just as good in the remote locations as it was in the same room as the base unit. I am very pleased with this system and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive wireless system with excellent sound quality.

Wireless?? Yeah Right...
I bought this product for my husband as a christmas gift and right when he opened it we were disappointed. First of all when something says WIRELESS you expect it to be "wireless", but this system is not! you have to plug each individual piece into the wall, and you dont even have a battery option. Not to mention we didnt get a remote. Now for the sound Quality, the price I paid wasnt bad. Although My husband and I live in a condo so we havent been able to fully test the sound quailty without upsetting someone. All together I would not buy this again!! or recommend it either.
