Worth The Buy-in
As Sansa Fuze users, we found limited choices for a decent, portable speaker system. The MM32 unit met our basic criteria-ac/battery powered; compact size; able to cradle our Fuze.
Being objective, we rate the MM32 at 3.5 stars (not 3), as the fidelty is good (we listen to everything from modern rock to opera, to 20's jazz); the ready ability to switch from ac to battery power; and yes, with the included inserts, the Fuze cradles in an esthetically acceptable manner. Other positives include battery life; we're into 14 hours on one set of AA's.
There are some negative aspects to the MM32 unit. Maximum volume probably won't rock the neighborhood (and there is no indicator for volume level); as noted, bass response is limited; and the attached stereo plug tends to be a hassle.
Nevertheless, we're happy with the unit, and would buy one again. It has proven itself already on camping trips, yardwork and barbecues. Ease of use, the aforementioned fidelity, and extended battery life add up to make this a perfectly acceptable unit. . . if one understands that it is less than perfect.

I never leave home without it.
Small but decent sound
The Logitech mm32 Portable Speaker is small yet produces a good quality of sound. Its sleek single cylinder design makes it small enough to carry without having to deal with multi-speakers. The speaker system comes with the speakers, carrying case, AC adaptor (5.5V output, which is detachable), built in output jack, and multiple cradles for various iPods you may have. The sound quality is good but it won't blow away a boom box. This Logitech was designed for a hearing range of 10-15 feet. So, it's perfect for being indoors, or at close range outside. The system does not charge your iPod so make sure you have done that before you leave the house. You can increase the strength of the sound volume by changing the iPod settings in your iTunes but, I wouldn't recommend that since the quality of sound will diminish. The speaker system is easy to use for it only has an on off switch and a volume adjuster. Overall, the Logitech portable speaker was worth the price and convenience.
Good Sounds
Amazon had the best price for this product. I am very satisfied with the system. The levels are good enough for my computer and my MP3 player.
